Golden’s of Kells has been serving the South Kerry community and welcoming visitors since 1776. Located between Glenbeigh and Cahersiveen, we combine a traditional craft shop, café, grocery store and fuel station in one unique location overlooking Kells Bay.

The Cafe

The Golden’s of Kells cafe offers a warm welcome and some of the finest views in South Kerry. Open daily in summer from 8:30am to 4:30m, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy freshly brewed coffee, and delicious, homemade food.

Sit back, relax and soak up the panoramic views over Kells Bay and across to Dingle while you dine. Whether you’re starting your day with a hearty Irish breakfast, or taking a break from exploring the Ring of Kerry, you’ll find good food, great coffee and unforgettable scenery waiting for you.

Craft Shop

This has long been a favourite stop for visitors travelling the Ring of Kerry. Inside the Craft Shop, you’ll find Irish clothing, jewellery, gifts and homeware from some of Ireland’s best-loved makers, alongside our own Golden’s of Kells collection.
